The Lavender Homestead

Small now, big dreams ahead.

Discover our Wisconsin lavender farm, boasting 3+ acres adorned with 7 distinct varieties of intensely fragrant and vivid purple fields. As we aim to expand our lavender rows, we envision sharing our harvests in diverse ways. Imagine our picturesque farm evolving into a dreamy event venue, perfect for hosting a myriad of celebrations.

The Lavender Homestead broke ground in 2022 and opened the fields a year later for the harvest season.

U-Pick Lavender Harvest

Lavender harvest runs from July to mid-August every year. Visitors get to walk through the lavender rows to enjoy the purple sights, floral scents, and buzzing bee sounds. We’ll hand you scissors so you can take home those beautiful bundles of lavender.

The bundles can be hung upside down to dry for a beautiful piece of decor for your home.

Welcome to the homestead.

  • Gus

    LIVESTOCK GUARDIAN DOG

Gus is a Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd mix who protects our chickens and farm full-time. Since Gus has been on duty, we haven’t lost an animal to any predators, including wolves, bears, coyote, foxes, raccoons, and opossums.

One night, Gus even stood his ground and barked off a 400-pound black bear at the fence line—proof of how seriously he takes his job.
